Paul Edward Herrmann, 73, Lansford died on Friday, July 24, 2015 in a Minot hospital.

Paul was born on August 30, 1941 in Camdenton, Missouri to Grace Herrmann. He was reared and educated in Camdenton and graduated from Camdenton High School.

Paul enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1960. He served in Korea, had two tours of duty in Vietnam and at air force bases in Okinawa, Fairbanks, Arkansas, Minot, Nebraska and Wisconsin. He received his honorable discharge in 1983 while he was stationed at Ellsworth AFB near Rapid City SD. As a retiree he was employed at V.A. Hospitals in Hot Springs SD and Vancouver WA as an OSHA and Safety Specialist.

Paul moved to Lansford in 1990 where he met and married Lois Houle on August 18, 2006. They had made their home in Lansford ever since.

Paul especially enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, cooking and baking as well as watching war and cowboy movies. He was a member of the V.F.W. and the Masonic Lodge both in Minot.

Paul's loving family includes his wife of almost nine years Lois; children: Lenora Smith (Dr. Jerry Schuler) of Minot, Kelly Herrmann of Minot, Diane (Keith) Kwasigroch of Minot, Duane (Debbie) Herrmann of Minot; stepchildren: Bryan (Kristy) Lesmann of Westhope, Kori (Lisa) Lesmann of Leonard and Troy (Chasitie) Lesmann of Fargo; fifteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Paul was preceded in death by his mother and uncle and aunt James and Nora Armstrong.

Celebration of the Life of Paul Herrmann: Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in Trinity United Church - Lansford.
Interment will be in the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery.
Visitation: Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home - Minot.
