Obituary

Patricia Lucille Keck, 81, Minot, died Friday, March 28, 2014 in a Minot Hospital.

Patricia was born September 29, 1932 in Ottumwa, Iowa the daughter of Scott and Ruth (Riley) Brandriff. She was raised and educated at Tinley Park, Illinois and graduated from Thornton Township High School, Harvey Illinois in 1950. After High School, she attended the Columbus Hospital School of Nursing in Chicago and received a nursing degree on August 24, 1954.

Patricia was united in marriage to Dr. Stanley Keck on June 11, 1955 at Tinley Park. They made their home in Rochester, Minnesota while he completed an orthopedic surgery fellowship at the Mayo Clinic. They moved to Minot in 1963, where they raised their three children and Dr. Keck practiced orthopedic surgery throughout the years. He died May 7, 2013.

Patricia was active with Art Club. She enjoyed reading, knitting, cooking and collecting teddy bears. She was very active in her children and grandchildren's lives and enjoyed attending her granddaughters' piano recitals. She and Stanley also enjoyed traveling the world.

Her loving family includes , children, John (Anne) Keck, Little Canada, MN, Margaret (Truman) Smith and Cathy Steward, Minot; grandchildren, Paul, Jessie, and Tara; several nieces and nephews.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a sister, Beryl Bernardi.

Funeral service : Thursday, April 3, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in Our Redeemers Church, Minot.
Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
Visitation: Wednesday, April 2, 2014 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
Memorials are preferred to the Salvation Army.
