Patricia Anne "Pat" Goodwin, 80, Minot died on Monday, October 6, 2014 in a Minot hospital.

Patricia was born on December 26, 1933 in Tintah, MN to Frank and Mabel Schuster. She was reared and educated in Tintah, graduated from Hancock, MN High School and from Minot State University with a degree in nursing. As a teenager she assisted her family with the operation of the family restaurant and farm and as a young adult she was employed at Trinity Hospital as a Ward Clerk.

Pat married Robert "Bob" Goodwin on December 7, 1962 in Minot. They made their home in Minot where she was a fulltime wife, mother and homemaker until her children were grown and then returned to her nursing career at Trinity Nursing Home. Bob was a longtime Minot real estate agent.

Bob died on March 19, 2010. Pat had continued to make her home in Minot.

Pat was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church - Minot and a local pool league. She enjoyed playing pool, cards especially rummy and board games.

Pat's loving family includes her children: Gary (Penny) and Jimmy (Carol) all of Minnesota and Bobbie (Keith) of Texas; grandchildren: Amy and Alysia; great grandchildren: Tanner, Delaney, Brooke, Breanna and Braydon; brother: Raymond of Minnesota and several nieces and nephews.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, husband and siblings: Francis, LaVerne, Winston, Helen "Sis" and her twin sister Margaret.

Mass of Christian Burial: Thursday, October 9, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church - Minot.
Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park - Minot.
Visitation: Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home - Minot.
Memorials are preferred to the Minot State University Nursing Scholarship Fund.
