Obituary

Patricia Ann Fimreite, 73, Norwich,died Friday, Dec. 9, 2011, in a Garrison nursing home.

Patricia was born July 23, 1938, in Minot, to Nels and Signy (Berg) Selfors. She was reared in Minot and graduated from Minot High School in 1956. As a young adult she was employed at the Woolworth's Caf in Minot.

Patricia married Darrel Fimreite on April 27, 1957, in Zion Lutheran Church, Minot. They made their home in Minot prior to moving to Norwich. Patricia was employed at the Ward County Courthouse Caf, Good Shepherd Daycare, and as a greeter at Wal-Mart. She had been a resident at the Benedictine Living Center in Garrison for the past six weeks.

Patricia was a member of the Norwich Lutheran Church and its women's organization and quilting group. She especially enjoyed making baby quilts, sewing and baking. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren.

Patricia\'s loving family includes her husband of 54 years, Darrel; children: Mark (Julie), Gayle (Kathy), all Minot, Pam Fimreite, Redmond Wash, Clark, Surrey, Lana (Calvin) Medler, Granville, Carol (Earl) Wagner, Minot and Ted (Rachelle), Norwich; grandchildren, Eric (Ami), Keith Fimreite, Angie (Tyler) Klein, Michael, Amanda and Melissa Fimreite, Candis (Hal) Goodman, Crystal (Matt) Jameson, Dean (Ashley), Amy Wittmayer, Wyatt and Lilly Fimreite, stepgrandchildren, Megan (Josh) Buskuehl and Tanner Wagner; great grandchildren, Mataya Klein, Payten Wittmayer, Kase Goodman, Justin Shelkey and Rachael Brown; sisters, Lorraine Alfstad, Seattle, Betty Barrett, Mount Lake Terrace,Wash,; brothers, Duane, Rodney, Victor and Theodore Selfors, all Minot, and Darroll Selfors, Thayer, Mo; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Sigrid Schmidt, Ruth Serio, Marjorie Lakoduk; and brothers, Frank and Lloyd.

Funeral Service: Tuesday, Dec 13, 2011 at 11 a.m. in First Lutheran Church, Granville.
Interment will be in the Norwich Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Visitation: Monday from 2 to 7 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
