Olivia Maria de Castillo, 80, Minot and formerly of Venezuela, died Tuesday, May 10, 2022 in her daughter's home.

Olivia was born April 2, 1942, in Carupano, Venezuela to Jesus Gonzalez and Petra Feguoroa. She grew up and received her education in Carupano. She completed her secondary education at Escuela Normal earning a teaching degree.

Olivia was united in marriage to Francisco Castillo on March 5, 1960 in Carupano. They made their home in Irpa and were blessed with four children.

Olivia enjoyed cooking along with arts and crafts.

Olivia and Francisco moved to Minot, North Dakota in 2018, to be near her daughter.

Olivia is survived by her loving husband Francisco Castillo, Minot; children Tomas Castillo, Jose Luis (Anabel) Castillo, both of Venezuela and Luisa (David) McCarthy, Minot, ND; grandchildren Merly Castillo, Genesis Castillo, Francisco Castillo, Gisela Castillo, Claudia Castillo, Francis Castillo and Isabella Castillo; great grandchildren Aram and Gael.

Olivia was preceded in death by her parents and son Alvaro Castillo.

A Memorial service will be held with family back home in Venezuela at a later date.
