Norvin John Pool Jr. , 56, Minot and formerly of Goldendale, Washington and Portland, Oregon died on Saturday, December 26, 2015 in a Minot hospital from injuries sustained in a snowmobile accident.
Norvin was born on October 30, 1959 in Portland, Oregon to Norvin Sr. and Bonnie (Sharman) Pool. He was reared and educated in Portland. Norvin was once married to Diane Watanabe and Laurie Marvin. They made their home in Portland where he was self-employed in concrete construction. He moved to Goldendale in 2003 and to the Minot area in 2010 where he assisted his son in the operation of Infinite Construction and Development.
Norvin's hobbies included fishing, hunting, deep sea fishing and working.
Survivors include his significant other: Veryl Jones; sons: Josh Pool (Misty) of Burlington and Chris Pool of Maui, Hawaii; stepdaughter: Tanaya Walls of Eugene OR; grandchildren: Maddisen, Quinton, Charlie and Damien; father: Norvin Pool Sr. of Merced, CA; sisters: Karen Dexter (Eddie) of Winlock, WA, and Kathy Carter (Bob) of Tigard, OR; several nieces, nephews and cousins and his dog: Diesel.
Norvin was preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie and a brother: Alan.

Wednesday, January 6, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
Visitation:
Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
