IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Navy Rose
Giroux
September 5, 2019 – September 26, 2019
Navy Rose Giroux, daughter of Jeremy and Tasha (Swanson) Giroux, passed away peacefully in her mommy's arms at home early Thursday morning, September 26 th after blessing her family for 21 days.
Sweet baby Navy came into this world fast and fierce on September 5, 2019, weighing 4lbs 11oz. She was 22 days premature and her Daddy always said she came early so we could spend more time with her. Navy was diagnosed with Trisomy 13 at the Masonic Children's Hospital in Minneapolis on September 11 th .
In her short precious life, we were able to celebrate her baptism, enjoy newborn photos, read lots of books and get in a ton of snuggles! She loved head rubs and being swaddled tight, but hated diaper changes and wearing clothes.
Navy was the best little snuggle bunny and her favorite place to be was in her mom and dad's arms snuggled tightly. She was loved and cherished by everyone who met her and will be in our hearts forever.
A special thank you to the NICU nurses at Masonic Children's Hospital in Minneapolis, MN and NICU at Trinity Hospital in Minot, ND.
Navy's loving family includes her parents, Jeremy and Tasha (Swanson) Giroux, Minot; maternal grandparents, Jeff Swanson, Minot, Jackie Soulis, Minot and Rocky Lawson, Sawyer; paternal grandmother, Dianne Giroux, Sawyer; maternal great-grandmothers, Sylvia Swanson, Minot and Vivian Helmers, Carpio; godparents, Carly and Daren LaBere, Bismarck and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Navy was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Glen Giroux, great-grandparents, Matt and Rose Koble and Eleric and Fern Giroux, maternal great-grandfather, Donald Swanson and great-grandparents, Bill and Marge Soulis.
