Nancy Lockrem, 66, Minot and formerly of Harvey died on Sunday, September 15, 2019 in a Minot hospital from an apparent heart attack.

Nancy Eileen Lockrem was born on March 31, 1953 in Harvey, ND to Anton "Tony" and Dorothy (Brower) Kost. She was raised and educated in Harvey and graduated from Harvey High School in 1971.

Nancy married Terry Lockrem on December 29, 1971 at First Lutheran Church in Harvey. They made their home in Valley City and Devils Lake prior to moving to Minot in 1979. Nancy was employed at Cognizant and the Minot Public Schools prior to retiring in 2015.

Nancy was a member of First Lutheran Church and local pinochle and gourmet cooking clubs. She especially enjoyed socializing with her friends, being outdoors and was an avid walker. But most of all she enjoyed time spent with her children and grandchildren. She was an excellent cook and loved preparing meals that were family favorites.

Nancy's loving family includes her husband of 47 years Terry; children: Troy Lockrem of New Hope MN, Travis (Jessica) Lockrem of St. Charles MO and Tara (Matt) Colby of Rogers MN; grandchildren: Easton, Hudson and Asher Colby and Lilia Martin-Lockrem; sisters: Judy (Jerry) Keller of Dickinson and Carol (Wes) Miiller of Rugby and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and her niece's husband and child Philander and PK Kirk.

Celebration of the Life of Nancy Lockrem: Thursday, September 19, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in First Lutheran Church - Minot.
Interment will be in Rosehill Memorial Park - Minot.
Visitation: Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home - Minot.
Memorials are preferred to the First Lutheran Church Building Fund.
