Myrtle Kavalski, 77, Everett, WA, formerly of Belden and Stanley, died March 2018 in Washington.
Mrytle was born on February 14, 1941 to August and Mrytle Viola Aho on their farm near Belden, North Dakota. She was baptized in Christ on March 2, 1941, where she lived till the family moved to Stanley. Myrtle was confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Stanley, where she also taught Sunday School.
She has been active in church most of her life, from cleaning the church to the Board of Trustees, Sunday School, and Altar Guild at Grace Lutheran Church in Everett, Washington. The love of her life was serving our Lord. It someone needed help she was always willing to do what she could. Myrtle moved from Williston to Renton, WA to work for Boeing Airplane Company.
Myrtle Jo Ann was married to Peter Kavalski on December 30, 1966 in Seattle, WA before moving in Everett, WA starting a 46 year long journey together until his passing in May of 2013. Myrtle was a sister to 11, a mother to 7, and a grandmother and great-grandmother to 33.
A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Belden Cemetery, rural Stanley.
In lieu of flowers, "Do a kind deed for someone you love or someone in need." Do not mourn for me, as I am only resting, and remember: "There is no end to the love we leave behind."
