Myron Dwight Miller, 79, Minot, died Monday, November 12, 2007 in his home.

Dwight was born April 7, 1928 in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania to Myron James and Miriam Abigail (Miller) Miller. He was raised on a Mazeppa, Pennsylvania farm with his two brothers and two sisters. Dwight moved to Minot with his family and siblings in 1941, graduating from Minot High School in 1946. Dwight and Lyda (Busta) Miller were married on September 7, 1946 in Sidney, Montana. He owned and operated Miller Concrete Products Company and he also worked as a representative for Tasco Industries.

Dwight attended First Church of the Nazarene in Minot and was a member of the Minot Elks and numerous trade associations. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and flying small general aviation aircraft. Lake Metigoshe was his second home and spiritual refuge. Dwight had a deep love of his family and an unwavering faith in God.

Dwight is survived by his daughters, Betty (Tom) Neff of Minot, Anne (Blaine) Robertson of Bloomington, Minnesota, Carol Miller of Burnsville, Minnesota; son, Brian (Wendy) Miller of Savage, Minnesota; sister, Nora Hile Judy, Dewart, Pennsylvania; Son-in-law: Mark Pfister, Ann Arbor, Michigan; 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and his best friend of 67 years, Harold Iverson.

Dwight was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Marlin and Clair, sister Wilma, his wife, son David Miller, daughter Barbara Pfister and great-grandson, Tyler James Miller.

Funeral services : Friday, November 16 at 11:00 a.m. at First Lutheran Church, Minot;
Interment : Velva Community Cemetery;
Visitation: Thursday from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
