Myron Arthur Johnson, 77, Kempner, TX and formerly of Granville, died on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 in a Minot hospital.
Myron was born on September 12, 1935 in Granville, ND to Arthur and Mabel (Latendresse) Johnson. He was one of twelve children, was reared and educated in Granville and received his G. E.D. while serving in the military. Myron married Joyce Lund on July 9, 1957. Myron was a veteran of the Korean War and served for seventeen years in the United States Army until he received his honorable discharge while he was stationed at Fort Hood, Texas. Following his discharge, he became a successful business man in Killeen, Texas, as the owner of Myron's Office World with four stores in the Temple/ Lampasas, Texas area.
Myron is survived by his eight children Jeff Johnson, Judy Austin, Lonnie Johnson, Layne Johnson, Elizabeth Barajas, Janet Clayton, and Patti Johnson. He also has twelve grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and eight surviving brothers and sisters: Irling, Myrtle, Leroy Butch, Carol, Darlene, Vernon, and Sally.
Myron was preceded in death by his wife Joyce, brothers Ronnie and Bud, and sister Arline.

Celebration of the Life of Myron Johnson: Friday, July 19, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home - Minot. A second service and burial will be held in Texas.
