Moana Kalani Alayah Velazquez, infant daughter of Luis and Hailey (Gustavson) Velazquez, Minot, was born still on Sunday, August 7, 2022, in a Minot hospital.

Moana is survived by her parents Luis and Hailey Velazquez, Minot; siblings Kailey Rose, Dakota Lee, Kyle William and Elleon James; paternal grandmother Louise Bailey, South Bridge, MA, maternal grandparents Curtis  (Angela) Gustavson Burlington, ND and Wendy Gustavson, Great Falls, MT; maternal great grandmother Alice Akre, Great Falls, MT; aunts and uncles include Marcos Rosario, Andrew Rosario, Jenny Lee Rosario, Ceraluz Rosario, Mayalee Rosario, Von Rosario, Raul Rosario, Jose Velazquez, Alex Standley, Joshua Standley and Samantha Field along with many extended family.

Moana was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Jose Velazquez, maternal great grandmother Betty Gustavson and uncle Nicolas Rosario.

Graveside Service:  2:00 p.m. Monday, August 15, 2022 in Section 17 of Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND.
Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to our service on Monday at the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
