Mindy Hill , 52, Minot and formerly of the Salt Lake City, Utah area died on Sunday, May 19, 2024 in her home. She fought a courageous battle with Diabetes and Kidney disease, and was cared for in her final months by her loving family and Trinity Hospice.

Melinda Lee "Mindy" Hill was born on May 14, 1972 in Sandy, Utah to Howard and Jacki (Andrews) Woods. She was raised and educated in Sandy, graduated from Alta High School in Sandy and received specialized training at a beauty school in Utah. This was the beginning of a long career as a self- employed beautician/hairstylist in the communities where she resided.

Mindy was once married to Howard Huefner and they made their home at various places in Utah and had three boys, Braden, Darion and Damon. Mindy married A. Reed Hill on September 21, 2000, in Salt Lake City, and had one daughter, Alexia. They made their home in Billings MT, Dickinson ND and Casper WY prior to moving to Minot, ND in 2018.

Mindy was very devoted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and to her family and especially enjoyed word search puzzles.

Mindy is survived by her husband of 24 years Reed; daughter and caregiver: Alexia "Lexy" Hill; children: Braden Huefner, Darion Huefner and Damon Huefner; stepchildren: Jeremy, Joshua, Karly, Dustin, Scott, Amanda and Tiffany; numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; mother: Jacki; siblings: Tiffany Whiting, Andrew Woods, Brady Woods, Cami Aley and Mitch Woods and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mindy was preceded in death by her father.
