IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Milo Dale
Register
January 19, 1953 – May 18, 2020
Milo Register, 67, Minot, died Monday, May 18, 2020 in a Minot hospital.
Milo was born January 19, 1953 in Minot, ND to Vernon and Arlene (Clark) Register. Milo attended Minot High School and graduated in 1972.
Milo moved to Mesa, AZ in 1988. He worked various jobs during his time in Arizona but found his way back to construction at the Africa Wildlife Park in Fountain Hills, AZ. Milo constructed enclosures for the 'big cats' along with other construction needs for the park. Milo stayed connected to the park through a donation program to feed the animals discarded meat from markets and butchers in the area. He valued his time there and claimed it was his favorite job during his lifetime. Milo assisted in the reconstruction effort following hurricane Katrina and returned to Minot in July 2009.
Milo did things 'big' and he was always 'all in.' He enjoyed the outdoors, chased walleyes but settled for any catch on his line. He was happy to have spent his last days of his life cooking for friends. Milo had the most blue and kind eyes many had ever seen. He had a love of horses and always seemed to have a dog by his side. He will be missed by all who shared in his life.
Milo is survived by his daughter Virginia (Alex) Mardikian, Minot; grandchildren Chryxaunna, Lane, Chyna and Morgan; sisters Verla (Wes) Dockter, Payson, AZ and RaeDene (David) Turner, Chugiak, AK.
Milo was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service is planned for August 19, 2020 from 6:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. at Roosevelt Park, Minot.
