Michelle Amber Call, 26, Minot, formerly of Gloucester, VA, died Tuesday, January 14, 2020 in a Minot hospital.

Born as a military dependent of Sean and Krista Call on June 22, 1993 at Langley AFB in Virginia, Michelle's early years were spent in Virginia, Alaska and Texas before her family settled down back in Virginia.  After high school graduation and a year at Longwood University, she moved to Minot, ND where she resided for the last 6 years continuing her education.

Michelle's dedication to helping others was unparalleled and it showed with her employment first as a child daycare provider and lastly as a special needs caregiver. Added were her countless hours of volunteer time to helping those in need in Minot. Those who truly knew her can attest to how much Michelle went above and beyond in both her work and volunteer activities and how much of an impact she was throughout the Minot community.

She married Robert Clayton Gates almost a year ago and was preparing to start another new chapter. Loved by her family and all she knew; she will be missed more than the world will ever know.

Michelle is survived by her parents: Sean and Krista Call, Gloucester, VA; husband: Robert Clayton Gates, Minot, ND; brother: Brian Call, Gloucester, VA; nephew: Sean Call, Gloucester, VA; grandmother: Marjorie Brush, Williamsburg, VA; grandfather: Claude Call, Babylon, NY; friends: Jenn and Diana along with many other dear friends in Minot, ND.

Michelle was preceded in death by her grandparents: Mary Rose Richards and Walter Brush.

Memorial Gathering:  Thursday, January 23, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
