Michael Zewick , 75, rural Granville and formerly of Minot and Grassy Butte died on Saturday June 30, 2007 in the home of his son in Minot.

Michael was born on February 28, 1932 in Watford City, ND to Harry and Polly (Demianiow) Zewick. He was raised and educated near Grassy Butte, ND and graduated from Grassy Butte High School in 1950. As a young adult he assisted on the family farm. Michael entered the U.S. Army on July 17, 1964 and served until his honorable discharge on December 3, 1964. He returned to North Dakota where he married Mabel Schule in October of 1966 in Minot. They made their home in Minot and on a farm near Granville. Mabel died on November 19, 1995.

Mike was a former member of the First Assembly of God and West Minot Church of God in Minot and was presently attending the Lighthouse Church - Minot. He especially enjoyed collecting stamps, coins and antiques and raising livestock.

Michael is survived by: Children: Jenette (Gary) Nelson of Stanley ND, LeAnn (John) Rindt of Grand Forks ND, David (Bev) Kulczyk of Stanley ND, Lonny (Linda) Schule of San Antonio TX, Greg Schule of Minot and Michael "Todd" (Kelli) Zewick of Minot; Grandchildren: Erik Hinzpeter, Jennifer, Stephan, Zewick, Scott Nelson, , Will and Shawn Kulczyk, Angie Stout, Lita, Heath, Jarette and Dakota Schule, Barb Dippold, Melanie Johnson, Jon and Nate Seright; several great grandchildren and a sister Ann Rambert of Chicago IL as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, daughter: Cheryl Weber, granddaughter: Ann Nelson, sisters: Pauline Parker and Mary Rebsom and brothers: George, John, William and Gus Zewick.

Funeral Service : Saturday, July 7, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the West Minot Church of God.
Graveside Service: Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in the Granville Community Cemetery.
Visitation: Friday from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home - Minot.
Memorials are preferred to the Lighthouse Church.
