With great sorrow, the family of Melissa Davenport Enriquez makes known her untimely passing on May 6, 2007, at the age of 24 in Minot, ND.

Melissa Renee Davenport was born on October 6, 1982, to Ed and Sharon (Luedke) Davenport in Redwood City, California. She was raised and educated in San Jose. She married Mario Enriquez in California.

While in Minot, she graduated from Quentin Burdick Job Corps Center earning her G.E.D., Certified Nursing Assistant certificate and attained Gold Card Status. She was employed at ManorCare Health Services and Kentucky Fried Chicken. Melissa had an excellent singing voice. She was an excellent mother, a loving daughter and sister. She loved to cook, keep house, laugh and take care of people.

Her loving family includes: Husband: Mario; Daughter: Serenity Enriquez, age one, Minot; Mother: Sharon (Luedke) Davenport, Minot; Brother: Steven (Rebecca) Stuhr, Long Beach, CA; several aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ed Davenport, maternal grandparents, Ted and Ida Luedke and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Davenport Sr.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in Bethany Lutheran Church, Minot.
Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
Visitation: Tuesday, May 8, 2007 from 2:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
