Maynard Anderson, 87, Carpio, died Tuesday, October 25, 2022.
Maynard was born at home in Plain Township, Renville County, to Burton and Helen (Helseth) Anderson on July 22, 1935 and passed away on the family farm in Carpio. He attended school in Plain Township and graduated from Carpio High School in 1953. Maynard entered the U.S. Army in 1954 and was honorably discharged in 1956. He married Patricia (Patsy) Brayson on June 1, 1957. Maynard worked on the Burlington Northern Railroad for 41 years, retiring in 1997. They had a small farm where they raised cattle. He was a member of Carpio Lutheran Church, American Legion, and Sons of Norway.
Maynard is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Patsy; children, David (John Garver) Anderson, Karla (Dave) Myers, Kari (Darcy) Myers, and Daryl (Gerice) Anderson; daughter-in-law, Tammy Anderson; grandchildren, Travis Myers, Eric (Angie) Myers, Delton (Lisa) Myers, Josh (Kristy) Myers, Tonya (Jason) Mayfield, Amber (Derek) Undhjem, Courtney (Zach) Banister, Caleigh Anderson, and Cayden Anderson; 20 great grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Loritz, Barb (Bob) Snyder; and step sister-in-law, Joan Laumb.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; son, Kevin Anderson; brother, John Anderson; sister, Ora (Lloyd) Askvig, brothers-in-law, Harold Loritz and Michael Brayson; step brothers-in-law, Jim (Ruth) Ronningen and Marlin Laumb.
Celebration of Life Service:

Visitation:
Friday, October 28, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
