Mark Rey, 59, Minot died on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at the home of his parents following a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis.

Mark Allen Rey was born on May 26, 1963 at Deaconess Hospital in Grand Forks, ND to Donald and Agnes (Vonesh) Rey.  He was raised there and in Minot where the family moved in 1969 when his father became a Counselor in the Minot Public School System and his mother a nurse at Trinity Hospital.  He graduated from Minot High School in 1982 and continued his education at the North Dakota State School of Science where he received specialized training in electronics.  Later, he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from Minot State University.

Mark owned and operated National Maintenance Products a computer repair business and Force of Habit Hobby Shop in Downtown Minot for twenty-two years.  He had retired from business ownership earlier this year.

Mark was a member of the Catholic Faith and especially enjoyed electronics, reading and spending time in the outdoors.

Mark's loving family includes his parents: Donald and Agnes Rey and brother: Jon Rey all of Minot.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

A memorial register book may be signed on Friday, September 9, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home – Minot.

Mass of Christian Burial: Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Reynolds, ND.
Interment will be in the church cemetery.
