Mark Kasper, 63, lifelong Minot resident died peacefully on Thursday, March 25, 2021 in his home.
Mark A. Kasper was born on August 17, 1957 in Minot to Don and Beatrice (Gefroh) Kasper. He was raised in Minot, attended Bel Air Elementary School and Bishop Ryan High School prior to graduating from Minot High School in 1977.
Mark married Mary Connole on May 12, 1979 at St. Leo's Catholic Church in Minot. They made their home in Minot where Mark was employed by Bridgeman Creamery for twenty-eight years as a driver.
Mark was a lifelong member of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church – Minot and was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers. In his younger years he was active in baseball, football and wrestling.
Mark's loving family includes his wife of 42 years: Mary; children: Lisa (Nathan) Brintnell, Jennifer (Chris) Walther and Michelle Kasper all of Minot; grandchildren: Madison, Conner, Taylor, Leah, Anna, Clare, Cecilia and Isabela Brintnell; Dylan and Mason Walther; Faith Meyer and Ellie Altringer; father: Don Kasper; brothers: Gregg (Judy) Kasper of Salt Lake City UT, Charles "Chuck" (Carol) Kasper of Danville IL and James 'JP' (Sara) Kasper of Minot and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mark was preceded in death by his mother: "Beaty" Kasper.
Mass of Christian Burial: Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. in St. John the Apostle Catholic Church – Minot.
Vigil Prayer Service: Tuesday March 30, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. in the church.
Visitation: Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home and for one hour prior to the service in the church.
In lieu of plants and flowers, due to Holy Week restrictions at the church, memorials are preferred to the Nathan Kasper Memorial Scholarship Fund C/O of Bishop Ryan High School.
