Marjorie Florence Walker, 76, Minot, died Sunday, September 28, 2014 in a Minot Nursing Home.

Marjorie was born November 24, 1937 at Minot, North Dakota the daughter of Fred and Grace (Miller) Storbeck. She was raised and educated in Minot. In addition to raising her children, she was employed for a time at the Minot Daily News and Minot City Auditorium in concessions. She was once married to Ernest George and James Walker.

Marjorie was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Minot, where she served as church secretary for a time. Her hobbies and interests included fishing, gardening, doing crossword puzzles and playing bingo, along with decorating for Christmas. When the boys were younger, she served as a Cub Scout leader.

Her loving family includes, children, Ernie George (Rhonda Nush), Pamela George, Brian (Susan) George, Jamie Walker and his fianc, Tracy Porter, all of Minot; 10 grandchildren, Mindy & Ben George, Angela Benjamin, Casey, Connor, Kenzie & Kylee George, Nicole Walker, Savannah & Emily Porter; 3 great-grandchildren; brothers, Harold & Carl Storbeck, both of Minot; sisters, Virginia Erickson, Berthold & Dorothy Collins of Minot; several nieces and nephews.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, husband's, son, Loren George, infant son, Marvin Walker; brothers, Richard, Elmer and Fred Storbeck; sisters, Mildred Grothe, Grace Frey, Blanche Hudson, Evelyn Klimpel and Eleanore Gleason.

Funeral service: Thursday, October 2, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Minot.
Interment : Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
Visitation: Wednesday from 3:00-7:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
The family prefers memorials in lieu of flowers or plants.
