Marie Opp , 96, Minot, went to be with her Lord on Friday, April 05, 2019 in a Minot nursing home.

Born Marie Sprenger May 25, 1922 in Roseglen N.D. Her mother Maria (Braunberger) Sprenger died at childbirth. Her birth father Frederich Sprenger was unable to care for Marie and she was raised by Frederich and Caroline Rau (sister to Frederich Sprenger), what great job they did!

Marie married Reinhart Opp on August 13, 1939 in McClusky N.D. Together they had four children Gerald, Donald, Lorene and Arlene. They operated a restaurant in McClusky (1949), Marie worked as a cook at the YMCA, Holiday Inn for many years, she was a great cook! They loved entertaining and family.

Marie was a member of the Calvary Alliance Church in Minot. She loved serving the Lord by supporting and working in missions, children's work, VBS, Bible Stories, Songs etc. In her spare time, she like sewing, and quilting. Marie and Reinhart's theme in life was "As For Me And My House We Will Serve The LORD".

She is survived by 2 daughters, 2 sons in law, 2 daughters in law, 16 grand kids, 49 great grand kids, and 7 great great grand kids.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on April 26, 2019 at Calvary Alliance Church - 715 20th Ave NW, Minot.
