Marian Thomas Poe, 87, formerly of Minot, died July 26, 2016 in a St. Louis area assisted living & memory care center surrounded by her loving family.

Marian was born in Minot to Ben and Lydia Thomas. She was reared and educated in Minot and graduated from Minot High School in 1947. She was united in marriage to Billy Poe. They had resided in the St. Louis area for many years where she was a teacher.

Marian's loving family includes : husband, Billy, children, Lydia, Jim and Margaret; brother, Richard Thomas and sister-in-law, Lorraine Thomas, both of Minot.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister: Margaret (Jay) Fauchald and brother: John Thomas.

Services and Interment were held in Missouri.
