It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Maria Guadalupe Herrera de Cano. Maria, 74, died at her home surrounded by her loved ones on Sunday, July 19, 2026.

Maria was devoted mother, grandmother and friend. She spent many of her last years caring for her grandchildren and her home. She loved gardening, cooking, attending church events, and walks to the park. 

Maria will be remembered for her strength, unconditional love, devotion to her faith, contagious laugh, her wisdom, and her homecooked meals that brought everyone together. 

She was loved and supported by many throughout her life. Her family would like to extend their gratitude and appreciation to the staff and nurses at the Cancer Care Center and at CaringEdge hospice. 

Maria is survived by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. 

A Spanish Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Minot.

Burial will take place at Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
