Margaret Sleeper, 95, Council Bluffs, IA formerly of Minot, died on Friday, January 14, 2011, in Council Bluffs.

Margaret focused her efforts on raising her family, laughter, enjoying the company of their many friends and baking. There was never the lack of good food and baked goods in the Sleeper home.

Margaret was a member of St. Leo's Catholic Church in Minot. Following Wilbur's death on December 22, 2001, she moved to Council Bluffs, IA, where she resided at Bethany Nursing Home.

Margaret is survived by son, Chris (Beckie) Sleeper, Omaha, NE and daughter, Rosemary Farrell, Minot; grandson, Sean Farrell, Minot; sister, Theresa Burke, County Galway, Ireland; sister-in-law, Peggy Landstrom, Tucson, AZ and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Wilbur, three sisters and two brothers.

Graveside Service: 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 20, 2011, at the Thomas Family Funeral Home, concluding at Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
Visitation: Wednesday, January 19, 2011, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Thomas Family Funeral Home.
Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
