Margaret "Dolly" Ehr, 86, rural Minot, formerly of Rolla, died Tuesday, March 24, 2009, in a Velva nursing care center.

Margaret was born August 26, 1922 at Rolla, North Dakota, the daughter of Charles and Mary (Malone) McMaster. She was raised and educated at Rolla and graduated from high school there.

Margaret attended Minot State College and was united in marriage to Lloyd Olson. They made their home in Minot until his death in 1963. Margaret then married Fred Ehr in 1966. They lived near Burlington throughout the years and she was employed for several years with Montgomery Ward Department Store in downtown Minot.

Margaret was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Minot and the Burlington Senior Citizens. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards and pinochle.

Margaret is survived by her husband, Fred Ehr, rural Minot, children, Jim (Polly) Olson, Novato, CA, Dick Olson, Minot, Bob (Joy) Olson, Minot and Linda Everson, Dickinson, ND; grandchildren Christopher Olson, Eric Olson, Brianna Olson, Derrick Olson, Curtis Everson, Kenny Everson; several nieces and nephews.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lloyd, sisters, Joyce, LaWanda, Norma and brother, Dean.

Funeral service: Friday, March 27, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in First Presbyterian Church, Minot.
Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
Visitation : Thursday from 2:00 -7:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
Memorials are preferred to First Presbyterian Church, Minot.
