Marcy Noel Huntress, 40, Minot, died Wednesday, October 03, 2018 in a Minot hospital.

Marcy was born May 16, 1978 in San Jose, CA the daughter of Ernest and Joyce (Slocum) Huntress – Gabel.  In her younger years, she traveled with her military family.  She moved back to Minot when she was 17.

Marcy was blessed with her daughter Shaleen in 2000. She earned her GED from the Minot Adult Learning Center in 2001.  Marcy took pride in the work she did and valued all of her relationships while working her favorite jobs at McDonalds, Starlight Lounge and Goodwill.

Marcy carried a deep and true love for her friends and family. She enjoyed coloring, 'spook shows' and was often found enjoying the companionship of her fur babies, Alley and PD.  We love you and will see you again someday!

Marcy is survived by her daughter, Shaleen Griffey, Killian, TX; father, Ernest (Carol) Huntress, Albuquerque, NM; sister, Audrey (Wade) Williamson, Minot; sister Ariel Huntress, Albuquerque, NM; nieces, Rielee, Ashlee and Kailey Williamson and lifelong devoted friend, Miles Parizek, Minot.

Marcy was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Gabel and birth father, Darrell Linton.

Service of Remembrance:  1:00 p.m. Monday, October 8, 2018, at the Thomas Family Funeral Home Minot.
Visitation:  Sunday, October 7, 2018, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
Memorials are preferred to organizations devoted to the treatment of those in the grasp of addiction.
