Madonna M. Harmon, 78, Minot died on Thursday, September 25, 2008 in a Minot nursing home.

Madonna was born on August 7, 1930 in Minot, North Dakota, the daughter of Harris H and Eleanore O. (Eide) Johnson. She graduated from Minot High School in 1947, and attended business college. She was employed during her younger years at Northwest Clinic and also worked in Sacramento, CA and in Seattle, WA. Upon returning to North Dakota, she was united in marriage to James Alexander Harmon on August 27, 1953. They made their home in Minot, where she was employed at Elite Studio and Towncrier Bookstore. He died on August 8 1958.

Madonna is survived by her daughter Cassandra Harmon of Minot, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
