M. Randy Larkin, 69, Grafton, died November 17, 2017 at his home.

Michael Randy Larkin was born on March 31, 1948 in Minot to Robert Oyd and Byrdie (Mockler) Larkin. He was their only child. On May 30, 1948, Randy was baptized by his grandfather, Reverend M. Mockler at his home church, First Church of the Nazarene - Minot on May 30, 1948.

In April of 1958, Randy moved to the Grafton State School and then to the San Haven Center near Dunseith in 1961. He returned to the Grafton State School (now the Life Skills and Transition Center) in 1987 and had resided there since.

Randy enjoyed car shows, listening to music and being out and about with his friends.

Randy is survived by his former guardian, Dr. Alfred Jones, and his 3 step sisters, Kitty Jones, Beverly Kelly and Doris White.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Dr. Alfred Jones wishes to extend his gratitude to all of the people who have worked with Randy over the years, providing him with wonderful love and care.

Memorial Service: Monday, November 27, 2017 at 1:45 p.m. in the All Faiths Chapel of the Life Skills and Transition Center - Grafton.
Funeral Service: Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
Interment: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Minot.
