Marilyn "June" Huntzinger, 75, Minot, died Saturday, August 31, 2024 in a Minot assisted living center.
June was born February 22, 1949 at Goshen, Indiana, the daughter of Robert and Dorothy (Ott) Blough. She was raised and educated at Goshen and graduated from Goshen High School in 1967.
June was united in marriage to Gary Huntzinger on November 29, 1970 in Goshen. They lived in Indiana for the first several years before they moved to Minot in 1977. In addition to being blessed with two daughters, she was employed at Trinity Nursing Home as a CNA for several years, along with being a Home Health provider and worked at the Minot Family YMCA teaching swimming lessons and filling First Aid-Kits. She also sold Mary Kay products for many years. Gary died on August 29, 2001.
June was a member of First Lutheran Church, Minot, where she was active with the church Altar Guild. She enjoyed bowling, playing Bunco and arranging flowers along with daily visits to Burger King, where she loved their French fries.
Her loving family includes, her grandchildren, Brian Huntzinger, Jayme Huntzinger, Daltyn Lakoduk, Brooke (Darian) Sloboden, Jacob Sloboden, Nicole Reifel, Jared Adams, Cindy Adams and Elizabeth Flansburg; great grandchildren, Ana and Ian Adams; sister, Carolyn Jean (Steven) Gaffer, Goshen, Indiana; son-in-law, Tim Sloboden.
June was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gary and two daughters, Sheri Sloboden and Darian Mock.
Celebration of Life Service: Thursday, September 5, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in First Lutheran Church, Minot.

Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot
Visitation: Wednesday, September 4th from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
Memorials are preferred to ALS Foundation.
