Lucille Wallace, 94, Minot, died Sunday, April 19, 2020 in a Minot nursing home.

Lucille was born July 2, 1925 in Wilton, ND to Clive and Grace (Rants) Lambert. At age 5, she moved with her family to Burlington, ND. She graduated from Burlington High School in 1945.

Lucille was united in marriage to Floyd Wallace on March 20, 1946 at her parents' home in Burlington. They made their home in Minot. Lucille was a daycare provider for many years for families in Minot and Burlington. Floyd passed away in 2010.

Lucille enjoyed having coffee with neighbors and friends.  She had fond memories of family picnics in Roosevelt Park for many years that featured special dishes from each family. Lucille had a lifetime collection of salt and pepper shakers that numbered over 1500 sets and recently was fond of collecting angels.  She found time to read and loved the challenge of a puzzle. Lucille loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren deeply and found great joy in the time she spent with them.  She will be missed deeply by all who were blessed to share in her life.

Lucille is survived by her children Brenda Wallace, Minot, Gary (Linda) Wallace, Havre, MT, Gene Wallace, Duane Wallace and Randy Wallace, all of Moses Lake, WA; seven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, husband Floyd, an infant son, an infant daughter, sister Lois Wallace, brothers, Leo Lambert, Glen and Eldon Lambert and daughter-in-law, Freida Wallace.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private family service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 24, 2020 at the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
