Lois 'Babs' Lockwood, 46, New Town, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2011 in a Minot hospital surrounded by her family.

Lois was born September 12, 1965, to Leroy Lockwood Sr. and Juliette Star Lockwood. She was blessed with one daughter, Claudia. Lois made friends with everyone. She was always willing to lend a helping hand. Lois was adored by her nieces and nephews and her ability to tell stories and share her many adventures. Her sense of humor was unrivaled as well as her big heart. She will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to share in her life.

Lois is survived by her daughter, Claudia; sisters, Loris, Lana, Deborah, Lisa, Leslie and Donna; brothers, Clayton, Sr. and Leroy Sr. and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Lois is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Mason and Bruce.

Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at the Johnny Bird Memorial Hall (Four Bears Community Center) in New Town.
Wake Service: 5:00 p.m. Monday, October 17, 2011, at the Johnny Bird Memorial Hall (Four Bears Community Center) in New Town.
Interment: Snowbird Cemetery, New Town, ND
