Lloyd C. Kvelstad, 37, Minot, died Saturday, November 25, 2006, in Havre, MT.

Lloyd was born December 2, 1968, in Minot, ND, to Clarence and Yvonne (Haabak) Kvelstad. He was raised and educated in Minot. In the late 90's, he resided in Fargo, where he assisted his father in the operation of an apartment complex in the maintenance department and also worked as a laborer for a lawn care service.

Lloyd enjoyed traveling and the outdoors, especially fishing. He was known to look at the lighter side of life and could always bring a smile to your face. Lloyd was given the gift of art and would often use his talent as gifts to those around him. Lloyd will be deeply missed by those who shared in his life.

He was survived by: Children: Braiden (8) and Taisha (7) St. Claire and their mother Rita, Minot; Brothers: Harold (Kristy) Kolobakken and McLean (Kelly) Kolobakken, both of Minot; Sister: Joyce (Kevin) Metcalf, Minot; Mother: Yvonne Kolobakken, Minot; and Grandmother: Rae Kahoutek, Minot; Nieces: Alonna Kolobakken, and Larissa and Jessica Metcalf; and Nephews: Tyler and Dylan Kolobakken.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his father, Clarence, daughter, Tayla, and grandfather, Carl Kohoutek.

Funeral: Monday, December 4, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. at Thomas Family Funeral Home of Minot.
Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot;
Visitation: Sunday, December 3, 2006, from noon until 5:00 p.m. at the Thomas Family Funeral Home of Minot.
