Linda was the baby of her family with an older brother Bill DeMar and an older sister Joan (DeMar) Yaddow. Linda was born in Watertown, New York. Linda's dad was with the Core of Engineers, the family moved often. It was in North Dakota where Linda met Douglas Weltzin, they were married on October 10th 1963.
