Obituary

Lillian Louise Grabow, 70, Surrey died on Friday, October 19, 2007 in a Bismarck hospital.

Lillian was born on February 12, 1937 in Surrey, ND to Edward and Agnes (Witham) Hoppman. She was reared on a farm near Surrey and graduated from Surrey High School in 1955.

Lillian married Wayne Grabow on November 25, 1955 in Surrey. They made their home in Minot until 1958 when they moved to Surrey. She was proud to be a fulltime wife, mother and grandmother.

Wayne died on June 21, 1993. Lillian had continued to reside in Surrey until she moved to the Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center in June of 2006.

Lillian was a former member of the Aurelia Moravian Church and the Church of the Brethren - Surrey where she was active in the Dorcas Circle women's ministry and taught vacation bible school for many years. She especially enjoyed quilting, crafts, piano playing, baking, reading and spending time with family.

Lillian's loving family includes her children: Michael Grabow of Rockford IL, Cindi (Rick) Norman of Springfield IL, Dave (Cyndi) Grabow of Oakdale CA, Kari (Steve) Lundberg of Mandan, Harley (Gayle) Grabow of Fountain CO; Grandchildren: Alexis, McKenna, Angela, Jenna, Michael, Emmily, Rontae, Nicholas, Jillian, Chad, Eric, Kathy, Phillip, Christopher, Matthew, Bethany, Kayla, Wayne, Taylor, Blayne and Haylie; Great Grandchildren: Nathaniel, Deacon, Benjamin, Orianna, Olivia, Elisha, Kaydence, Ashtyn, Garrett, Brianna and Nicholette; mother: Agnes Hemenway of Salem OR; sisters: Elaine (Elmer) Bradwisch of Chehalis WA, Arlene (Robert) Guthrie of Gaylord MI, Darlene (John) Dickman of Garrison ND and Viola (Arlen) Ojala of Sandpoint Idaho; brother: Richard (Polly) Hoppman of Salem OR; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins

Lillian was preceded in death by her father, husband and grandson: Blayne Grabow.

Funeral Service : Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in Hope Lutheran Church - Surrey.
Interment
will be in the Church of the Brethren Cemetery - Surrey
Visitation
: Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home - Minot.
