Lila Kalata Roggenbuck, 84, Minot, died Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Lila was born March 16, 1927 at Karnak, North Dakota, the daughter of Joseph and Emma (Steffenson) Banna. She was raised and educated at San Haven, Hannaford and Minot.

Lila was employed at the Majestic Caf and Minot Steam Laundry prior to her marriage to Raymond Roggenbuck on January 9, 1945 at Havre, Montana. They made their home in Minot where they raised their five children. Ray died December 6, 2009.

Lila was a member of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, Minot, and a former member of the Minot Moose Lodge and Eagles Aerie. She enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting, doing needlework & crafts, along with camping with family and cooking.

Lila's loving family includes : children, Robert (Betty) Roggenbuck, Binford, ND, Linda (Henry) Patrick, Newport, WA, Daniel (Sandra) Roggenbuck, Burke, VA, Laurie (Richard) Pinnell, Chico, CA, Dawn (Jason) Werre, Minot; seventeen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; sisters, Mariam Valentine, Everett, WA and Ruth Moe, Minot, brothers, Russell Banna, Burlington, Monver (Lois) Banna, Minot, and Richard (Ione) Banna, Kalispell, MT; a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Lila was preceded in death by her parents, husband, great-grandchildren Brandon Turner and Hunter Patrick, and two infant brothers.

Mass of Christian Burial : Monday, April 4, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, Minot.
Vigil Prayer service : Sunday at 7:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
Interment : St. Mary's Cemetery, rural Foxholm later in the spring.
Visitation: Sunday from noon 5:00 p.m. in the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
