Lester Coker, Jr., 56, Minot, died Wednesday, July 16, 2014 in a Bismarck hospital.

Lester was born on March 23, 1958, in Stanley, ND, to Lester and Barbara (Vincent) Coker. He moved with his family to Minot in 1960. He attended schools in the Minot area and later received his GED. Lester's work as a crane operator led him to move numerous times to various states in America before returning to Minot. He was also employed for a time as a cook at Glady's Restaurant. Lester was once married to Kathy Witmor.

Lester is survived by his mother of Minot; brothers Dean Coker of Minot; Greg (Jennifer) Coker of West Melbourne, FL; sister Cathy Snow of Palm Bay, FL; his beloved dogs and cats; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents; father; and brothers Jimmy Coker and Benji Coker

A memorial service will be held on August 17, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. in the Community Room at Milton Towers, 310 2nd St. SE, Minot, ND 58701.
