Lena Vestrocy , 93, Minot, ND and formerly of Pennsylvania and Florida, died Wednesday, October 21, 2020 in a Minot hospital.

Lena was born May 28, 1927 in Farrell, PA to Joseph and Anna (Kovich) Gagrica. She grew up in Farrell and attended school at Farrell High School during her formative years.

Lena was united in marriage to Alex Vestrocy on September 14, 1946 in Farrell. They made their home in Sharpsville, PA, where they were blessed with the addition of their only child, Elizabeth. They moved to Pittsburg, PA in 1964, where they lived until October 2004. They moved to Jacksonville, FL to be with family.

Lena was a loving wife, mother and blessed to be a grandmother and great-grandmother during her lifetime. She always provided well for her family. Alex passed away on August 27, 2009.  Lena moved along with her family to Minot, ND in July 2019.

Lena's loving family includes daughter Elizabeth (William) Allen; grandsons William, Paul, Jeffrey and Scott (Taaz) Allen and great-grandson Zain Allen, all of Minot.

Lena was preceded in death by her parents; husband Alex, sister Mildred Bell, brother Sam Garcia and nephews James Bell and Thomas Bell, Jr.

A private interment will be held at the Jacksonville National Cemetery of Jacksonville, FL.
