Leah Waltzer, 92, Minot, died Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2019 in a Minot nursing home.

Leah was born Nov. 13, 1927 in Iron River, MI to Charlie and Ruth (Born) Olson.

She was united in marriage to Ray Waltzer on August 10, 1954 and made their home near Denbigh, ND until they moved to Minot in Dec. 1958.

Leah was a self-employed with her daughter, Brenda, for 35 years until retiring in 2003.

She was baptized January 4, 1958, became a member of Jehovah's Witnesses, and enjoyed sharing her faith with others. She also enjoyed traveling, playing cards, embroidery, gardening, dancing, and camping.

Leah is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Ray Waltzer; children Larry Waltzer, Brenda Brainard, Linda (Dan) Lillis, and Ardelle Kovarik; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, sisters LaVerne (Bruce) Knapp and Viola Schell, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Leah was preceded in death by her parents, sister Doris Getzlaff, brothers Charles and Vernon Olson; sister-in-law Teresa Olson and brothers-in-law Marnel Getzlaff and Tony Schell.

Memorial Service: Saturday, Dec. 14, 2019, 10 a.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1100 Hiawatha Street, Minot.
