Lavonne Lorraine Lauber, 87, Minot died on Monday, August 18, 2014 in a Minot nursing home.

Lavonne was born on July 25, 1927 in Minot to Carl and Jennie (Teuben) Lauber. She was baptized and confirmed at First Lutheran Church and was reared and educated all in Minot. As a young adult she began employment at Minot Steam Laundry and continued to work there for thirty years before working at St. Joseph's Hospital in the Laundry Department for ten years. Following her retirement she served as a companion for senior citizens, a position she very much enjoyed because she made so many wonderful friends through the program.

Lavonne is survived by her loving sister Carol Schultz of Minot who loved and cared for her as well as many nieces and nephews who she dearly loved.

Lavonne was preceded in death by her parents, sisters: Rose Cline, Ethel Halvorson, Hilda Hauglie and an infant sister and brothers: Raymond, Leon, Alfred, Don and Earl.
