Lane A. Harden , 67, New Town, ND and formerly of Oregon, Wyoming and Colorado, was called home Friday, October 23, 2020 from a Fargo, ND hospital.

Lane was born November 25, 1952 in Moscow, Kansas to Leonard and Mary (Wiebe) Harden.  He grew up and attended school in Alaska and Oregon.

Lane spent his working years as a Ranch 'Jigger' Boss, spent several years as a logger and was a self employed diesel mechanic in New Town, ND since 2010, operating Lane's Truck Repair.  He retired from the shop in 2018 and continued to drive truck part time hauling pipe for the oil industry until his passing.

He was united in marriage to Sherrie Easley on February 15, 2016. He enjoyed spending time in the outdoors camping and fishing.  Lane also did some beekeeping as a hobby in his spare time. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to many. Always willing to lend a hand, his gentle and kind way with all who knew him will be forever missed by all who were blessed to share in his life.

Lane is survived by his wife Sherrie Harden, New Town, ND, children Brian (Anissa) Harden, Ferndale, WA, Rex (Cindy) Harden, La Grande, OR, Lori (Mark) Johnson, Aztec, NM and Kristy Regalado, Tucson, AZ; grandchildren Carter Harden, La Grande, OR, Katherine Johnson Aztec, NM and Robert Johnson, Aztec, NM; siblings Ward (Mila) Harden, Olympia, WA, Nita (Tony) Cardoza, Paisley, OR, Lynda Harden, Farmington, NM, Evelyn Breshears Harden, Homer, AK, June (Larry) Harringer, Cottage Grove, OR and Leitha Harden, Las Vegas, NV along with many nieces and nephews.

Lane was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Mary Harden and grandson Ethan Harden.

A Celebration of Lane's Life will be held in the Spring of 2021.
