Kevin Paul Hanson, 54, Minot died on Sunday, March 10, 2013 in the Wishek Living Center following a 34 year struggle with injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
Kevin was born on December 19, 1958 in Minot to Boyd and Phyllis (Fjeld) Hanson. He was reared and educated in Minot and graduated from Minot High School with the Class of 1977. As a high school student, he was employed in the auto body repair department of Jim Ryan Chevrolet. Following his high school graduation, he attended an auto body repair school in Minneapolis. Following the completion of his training he continued his employment at Jim Ryan Chevrolet. Kevin became disabled in 1979 due to a motor vehicle accident. He had been a resident of Trinity Homes for many years prior to moving to the Wishek Living Center during the Summer of 2011.
Kevin was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Minot and especially enjoyed hunting, fishing and motorcycle riding.
Kevin's loving family includes his parents: Boyd and Phyllis Hanson of Minot; siblings: Vicki (Kevin) Johnson of Minot and Kent (Tanya) Hanson of Marysville, WA and nieces and nephews: Brianna, Brittany, Blake and Jordan, and special aunt, Gloria Aberle.
Kevin was preceded in death by his grandparents: Elmer and Thelma Fjeld and Carl and Ruth Hanson.

Funeral Service: Friday, March 15, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in Bethany Lutheran Church - Minot.
Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park - Minot.
Visitation: Thursday from noon until 4:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home - Minot.
Memorials are preferred to Bethany Lutheran Church or Trinity Homes.
