Kent Roderic Jensen, 55, Minot, died Wednesday, November 26, 2014 in a Minot Nursing Home.

Kent was born June 5, 1959 at Minot, North Dakota the son of Roderic and LaVonne (Lee) Jensen. He was raised and educated in Minot and graduated from Minot High School in 1977. Kent enlisted with the U.S. Army in 1978 and was honorably discharged in 1979. He moved to Colorado and was employed in the construction industry. Kent was once married to Deb Klemm.

Kent returned to North Dakota in 1982 after the birth of his daughter, Lisa. He was employed in construction throughout communities in North Dakota. He was a member of the Presbyterian Faith. He was also a member of the Minot Eagles, Elks, and NRA. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching football games, especially the Carolina Panthers, and being with family and friends.

His loving family includes , children, Lisa (Mike) Busch, Atlanta, GA, Kent R. Jensen Jr., Billings, MT, Devin Lauer, Mandan, ND, mother, LaVonne Jensen of Minot; brothers, Rick (Sue) Jensen, Bismarck, ND, Brian (Joan) Jensen, Marquette, MI, sister, Jerolyn Hanenberg, Colorado Springs, CO; granddaughters, Madison & MaKayla.

Kent was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral Service: Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
Interment: Westhope Community Cemetery.
Visitation : At his request there will be no reviewal, however friends may sign the memorial register book on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until service time in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
Memorials are preferred to an organization of the donor's choice.
