Obituary

Kenneth Huber , 70, Apache Junction, AZ, and formerly of Bismarck and Parshall died Sunday, October 30, 2011 in Thedford, Neberaska.

Kenneth was born on April, 15, 1941 in Renville County near Norma, North Dakota, to "Alfred" Alphonse and Berniece (Pomplin) Huber. He attended public school in Kenmare and as a young adult, spent a few years employed in the oil field and at the Kenmare elevator.

Kenneth married Alice Jensen in 1957. This union was blessed with two children. They resided in Kenmare until moving to Parshall, where he owned and operated the Parshall Grain Elevator and later opened a NAPA store and operated K&A Motor Marine. While in Parshall he was the fire chief for 25 years, then an honorary member of the Parshall Fire Department.

They moved to Bismarck in the mid 80's were he worked as a truck driver for various companies for a number of years until retiring to be with Alice during her cancer fight. She passed away on November 20, 2006.

Kenneth purchased a residence in Arizona, where he spent most of his time over the last couple of years. He could be found riding his Harley and spoiling his grandchildren. Kenneth's younger years found him in the outdoors, spending summertime on Lake Sakakawea and in the fall with the roosters and bucks, while hunting with his son, Troy. He will be deeply missed by all who shared in his life.

Kenneth is survived by son, Troy(Ardyce) Huber, Minot; son-in-law, Bill Niemann; grandchildren, Ashley and Travis Huber and Kelsey Huber Niemann; brothers, Gerald (Alyce) Huber, Ron (Lucille) Huber, and Gayle (Linda) Huber; sister, Sally (Allen) Bauer, Kenmare and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Alice and daughter, Tawnie Huber- Niemann.

Funeral Service: Friday, November 4, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in Vincent United Methodist Church, Minot.
Interment: Parshall Cemetery 2:15 p.m.
Visitation: Thursday, November 3 from 2:00 7:00 p.m. in the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
