Kenneth Brainard, 68, Minot, died Tuesday, October 08, 2013, after a short battle with cancer.

Ken was born May 15, 1945 in Minot, ND to James and Clara (Kvamme) Brainard. He was raised and educated in Palermo, graduating with the class of 1963.

Ken was united in marriage to Brenda Waltzer on October 8, 1977 in Minot, ND. They made Minot their home and for the past 12 years he was employed by Taxi 9000.

He was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in May 1977 and enjoyed camping, fishing, and other outdoor activities.

Surviving family includes loving wife of 36 years, Brenda Brainard, Minot; sister, Millie Banet, Devils Lake, ND and brother, Curtis Brainard, Palermo, ND and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial Service will be Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah's Witnesses, Minot.
Visitation/Booksigning will be one hour prior to the memorial service at the Kingdom Hall.
