Kelly Howard, 69, Minot died Friday, October 29, 2021, in his home.

Kelly Earl Howard was born on November 8, 1951, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Kenneth and Delores (Wilkinson) Howard.

Although Kelly was originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, he made his home in North Dakota. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War. After his service he worked many different trades but excelled as heavy equipment operation in the construction industry.

Kelly lived life to the fullest showing no fear. He had a sense of humor that kept people laughing, a smile that could light up the room and he brightened many people's lives.

He jokingly referred to his caregivers as his sister wives. He will be missed by many but remembered fondly by those who shared in his life.

Kelly is survived by his children Ann Marie, Miquelle, Tyler, Troy and Levi and their families; caregiver family that includes Michele and Marcy and their children Shane, Alex, and William sharing stories with them that will be remembered forever.

Kelly was preceded in death by his parents and brother.
