Keith Wesley Herrmann, 76, Burlington, ND died Wednesday, September 23, 2020 in a Minot nursing home after a short-term battle with cancer.

Keith Wesley Herrmann grew up in the small town of Tyler, Minnesota.  He attended school in Canby, Minnesota.

Keith entered the construction industry working with several crews as a young adult. He moved to North Dakota in 1964 and found work with Cenex in Mohall. In 1968, he joined Peavey Elevator in Garrison, ND.

Keith was united in marriage to Eunice Ness on July 10, 1965 in Minot, ND. They made their home in Mohall, and later moved to Garrison where they had their son Travis.

Keith and Eunice moved to Burlington in 1978 and made their home there for the next many decades raising their family.  Keith found employment as a Truck Driver with many different companies over the years.  NW Salvage, Minot Builders Supply, Power Fuels, Jost Cement, GCC Trucking Company and Farden Construction. He drove approximately 5 million miles in his career as a professional tourist, as he liked to call it, with only 1 accident in the late 70s. If you didn't know him by Keith you probably knew him as Budweiser, his CB handle. He always kept himself and whatever he was driving spotless and as shiny as possible.  He made many friends over the years in many different states as he traveled.    He had a knack for being able to start a conversation with practically anyone.

He enjoyed mechanical work, especially working on and restoring old cars with his son.  He always enjoyed a good laugh with friends. He was generally a quiet man, but his laugh was big, and it wasn't often he didn't have a smile on his face.

Keith was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses.

Keith is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Eunice, Burlington; son Travis (Sabrina) Herrmann, Minot; grandchildren Carson and Riley Held; sister-in-law Julie (Dan) Cutcher NY; brother-in-law Virgil (Cynthia) Ness of Ryder and Tuscon AZ; brother Dennis Herrmann, Bottineau; also many nieces and nephews.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Myron, Kenny and Merl and sisters Mae Borgers, Vernetta Jensen and Adeline Herrmann.

Memorial Gathering of Family & Friends :  Sunday, September 27, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
