Obituary

Kathy J. Wunderlich, 53, 409 25th Street N.W. Minot, died Sunday, April 15, 2007, in a Minot Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Kathy, the daughter of John and Darlene (Johnson) Kallias, was born August 15, 1953 in Minot, ND. She was raised in Minot and for a short time in Williston, before returning with her family to Minot. She graduated from Minot High School in 1972 and was united in marriage to Gary Wunderlich on October 3, 1980 in Minot. They have made their home in Minot, where she was employed at Magic City Hatchery for twenty-two years and was self employed with her own cleaning business from 1998-2003.

Kathy was a member of First Lutheran Church and was an active hockey mom and aunt. She was the family photographer, enjoyed scrapbooking and loved being around animals, especially her dogs, Ginger and Pepper. She enjoyed family outings, which included summer vacations, camping and fishing, and frequent trips to Lake Metigoshe.

Her loving family includes : Husband, Gary; Daughters: Heather and Erica Wunderlich, both of Minot; Parents: John and Darlene Kallias, Minot; Father and Mother-in-Law: Gene and Agnes Wunderlich, Minot; Brothers: Larry (Debbie) Kallias, Minot, Gary Kallias, Youngtown, AZ, Sisters: Vicky (Don) Davison, Minot, Cheryl (Wayne) Borstad, Minot; Sister-in-law: Diane Coulson, San Jose, CA, Brother-in-law: David (Janel) Wunderlich, Minot; Nephews and Nieces, Brett Kallias, Alyssa Kallias, Fargo, Amy (Ralf) Glowna, Rogers, MN, Cory (Elisabeth) Davison, Fargo, Stacy Davison, Minot, Tyler Borstad, Apple Valley, MN, Andrea Borstad, Minot, Lauren Coulson, San Jose, CA, Levi Wunderlich, Sioux Falls, SD, and Marlee Wunderlich, Minot; Great-niece, Abby Davison.

Kathy was preceded in death by her brother, John Kallias, maternal grandparents, Arvid Johnson and Hulda "Tootie" Arnold, paternal grandparents, James and Mary Kallias.

Celebration of Life Service: Friday, April 20, 2007, at 2:30 p.m. in First Lutheran Church, Minot;
Interment:
Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot;
Visitation:
Thursday from 2:00 - 7:00 p.m. in the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
In lieu of flowers or plants, memorials are preferred to First Lutheran Church or Trinity Hospice.
