Joshua (Josh) Robert Shaun Miller , 27, was embraced by the arms of Jesus, Tuesday, January 21st, 2014, at the Abilene Regional Medical Center, Abilene, Texas.
He attended Little Flower Elementary School and graduated from Bishop Ryan High School in 2004.
Joshua moved to Fargo, ND after high school with his best friend, Brian Woiwode. The summer of 2007 he made his way to DeKalb, IL, where he made many friends and found love.
Joshua started taking classes at Kishwaukee College, pursuing a degree in electrical technology. Joshua would have graduated this spring.
He continued his love of reading, music and the outdoors into adult life. He loved dancing, skiing, kayaking, hiking, scuba diving, star gazing, kites, RC fliers, and traveling. Put Joshua outside and he was right at home. Playing with his dog "Tank" and pet iguana brought him great joy. He attended Renaissance fairs, Sci-Fi conventions, took cruises and vacations in the Cayman Islands.
Joshua lived, laughed and loved life to the extreme.
Joshua will be missed by his parents; Andre Champieux Miller (Dan Caswell), Minot, & Clyde (Kathy)Miller, Casa Grande, AZ; sisters, Dawn (Dean) Tiger, Abilene, TX and Kimberly (Justin) Pfeilschiefter, Minot; nephew, Zachory Eggers, Minot; nieces, Kayla Salwey, San Antonio, TX; Madison Pfeilschiefter, Minot and Hope Eggers, Minot; aunts, Wendy (Dennis) Bress, Carson City, NV, Mary Linberg, Westport, PA, Rebecca Nordberg, State College, PA; uncle, David (Terri) Champieux, Pasa Robles, CA; godmother, Marita Hoffart, Minot and special friend Freddie Gutierrez, Sweetwater, TX.
Memorial Service
Saturday, Feb 1st at 2 p.m., Little Flower Catholic Church, Minot.
Interment:
Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND (Spring 2014)
Family and friends are invited to gather at the church one hour prior to the start of the service to visit and share memories of Joshua.
