Joseph Lewis, 75, Minot and formerly of Jeanerette, Louisiana died on Sunday, June 5, 2022 in a Minot hospital.

Joseph was born on October 10, 1946 in Lafayette, Louisiana to Nolan and Martha (Bradley) Lewis.  He was raised and educated in Jeanerette, Louisiana.  He was employed at Bank's Electric for many years.

Joseph was a member of the Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Jeanerette and especially enjoyed playing cards.

Joseph's survivors include his siblings: Martha (John) Roberts and Michael Jean Louis all of Minot; Barbara Banks, Donald JohnLouis, Craig JeanLouis, Anthony JohnLouis, Patrick JeanLouis and Sylvester JohnLouis and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother: Lee JohnLouis.

Public Visitation: Saturday, June 11, 2022 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home – Minot.

Funeral and burial will be in Jeanerette, Louisiana.
